A 400 ton (estimated) - 5 meter diameter meteorite, impacted in the center courtyard of the Hale Wasteland Village. No injuries or building damage was reported.
Sheriff Gallagher, a week earlier on his way back from the wastelands , was informed that INSILICO's long range monitor warned of meteor or asteroid activity that could impact Hale's Moon and the immediate surroundings.
An immediate survey of the space above Hale's Moon indicated no immediate threat, monitoring continued.

It's just the West side of town. Hale's doesn't really have wastelands. We have the town, and we have the mines, and we have all the desert that's not either.
